Eun-Soo Lim

Definitely PM Hailey Shin about attending! Not sure if she's attending the competition though.
Also, I believe Skate Korea (aka Ranking Competition) is slated for Dec. 1-3 according to Finnstep's post in the State of SK thread

Oh awesome - thank you so much!! I was going to PM her, but didn't want to be a bother. :p

I'd love to attend if I can figure out how, haha. I hadn't found Finnsteps post yet, but December is much more feasible for me than October, thank goodness...

Thanks again!

KSU officials and government officials need to do something to improve the training conditions. It’s so absurd they don’t let an individual to have their own ice rink in korea. Yuna really need to have her own. She really desired to have her own training ice rink, but greedy officials stop her having one. They just want to make some money from it. In korea, a ice rink automatically belongs to local government. KSU officials mostly consist of people from speed skating. They rarely do something for figure skating. I don’t know whether Eun soo want go abroad or not but we need to solve the problems by the roots.

I don't understand why Junior Grand Prix is mostly held in europe. :dev2:

To make the judging fair enough, ISU should think about picking the judges from at least three different continents, such as Europe, America and Asia. For example, 3 judges from each continent. Also, they need to split the venue for JGP at least 3 different continents, too. We already saw this tremendously harsh judging towards Eunsoo especially by European judges in this event. And I truly believe that this is related to the number of European judges, as always.

I'm too emo to look at her FS, but I have to nod my head to the comments about the judging, at least for the SP. I've been mulling over it since Croatia to be honest where YY got judged harshly on underrotations while Mako got a free pass on hers.:noshake: Small feds should be grateful for the scraps they get eh./s I don't want to make assumptions or judge the judges, but I see what they're doing. Though to be fair Alena and Panenkova were on another level so either way I don't think Eunsoo would have made the final, but to see her confidence shattered like that hurts. She's grown an insane amount in height and is adjusting to that. Needs work in SS and transitions (I honestly hate how people make transitions to be the king of everything in FS lately. It is ONE category in PCS and a requirement for the solo jump.:sarcasm: No transitions does not mean your performance is suddenly bad.) but it will be something she will work on as she slowly gets used to having those endless legs. I want her to train overseas too, but Cricket Club is pretty crowded so I don't know if she'll be accepted and other than that, I'm not really sure where she would go lol. Maybe to Japan? Didn't she train in Japan for a short period of time before?

As for her program music, I LOVE the FS stuff so don't change that lol! I can do without the SP though.

^^ actually, Japan is not a bad idea at all. She can learn Japanese fast rotations in the air and in spins. And Japanese style Skating Skills. Can you imagine, combine that with her natural talent.
but for choreo I hope she can go to David Wilson. Cos I think their school of body language training, is really something could be enlightening to her.
for example, make a program for Dabin Choi by David Wilson is great, but wouldn't be too much of a help due to Dabin's weakness of musicality(this is really hard to improve)
but i do believe David Wilson's school of artistic training, is what squirtle needed and her natural talent can handle it.

That's what I'm saying and what made me so mad. Not the placement, not lost place in JGPF, but unfair judging influencing skater's confidence. She should have gotten ~62, one may say it's only 4 points, but these kids are killing themselves for every single one of them - that's how system system works, hence backloading, etc..
I saw it once before, when Julia L. skated amazing SP in China 2014, got lowballed and had disastrous free skate day later. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Smile, anyway! :)

Eunsoo's whereabouts:

She recently competed in a domestic ranking competition. Apparently she did her 3Lz-3T and 2A-3T in the second half. On the other hand, Heeyuhee also noted that she had a fluke fall at the start. Her PCS agrees with what she is given in international competitions BUT it looks like she wants fight against Yelim's TES potential.

If this girl got some top-notch coaching correcting pre-jump posture, fists, expression, etc., she would eat those judges' hearts like cookies. She has high jumps, good flexibility and much of sass already.
I can only hope Korean feds realize the value of rough unpolished diamond they possess. :drama:

I have read that she's injured but she looks rather solid :( She worked on that sit spin and her step sequeces look improved, hopefully she will have good competiton :hap10:

She looked tired or something. :(
But she did improved as you said. I hope she gets better! I love both her programs, specially her SP.

Oh god I am scared for the FS.:sad21: The axis on her jumps were really off and it looks like her left hip is bothering her?:hopelessness: Rest up well and good luck Eunsoo!!! Looking absolutely gorgeous in the turtleneck by the way. While the rest of the kpop world is on fire with MAMA, I'm here with MY IDOL!

Seems like sth is bothering her. I assume puberty is affecting her as well, like all girls at this age.
Still looking gorgeous like usual.
