Eun-Soo Lim

I mean, yeah to all of that, but generally 1 spot will be tough cookie to swallow for all Korean girls. :scowl:

I'm not a happy camper. :scowl:

GAAAAH :tantrum:
I know!!
This was what I thought of next. Eunsoo is quite susceptible to the pressure. To have that type expectations on your shoulders is hard to bear. I still remember how she performed in Gdansk where a JGPF berth was a possibility but she let that opportunity go.

OMG I ALMOST SCREAMED IN THE OFFICE. She going places!!:party2: I LOVE Jeff's programs, but the ones I love are the ones he's done for guys so I'm really curious to what they're going to come up with. Eunsoo is a good dancer with rhythm so I hope something fresh and pop! And I'm scared for next year with only 1 spot for Worlds.

Problem for me is, I like Yelim as well. I think she has as much talent as Eunsoo, just less charisma and mental toughness. These two would be my Korean dream team for Worlds. :scowl:

Mannnn this 1 spot for Korean skaters really makes me cry. I want Eun-soo to have her senior debut next season and possibly be there for the Worlds. She can't stay in the Junior circuit anymore if she wants to be a contender in Beijing. I love that we're getting depth for ladies figure skating but so so so sad about this 1 spot. :(

Anyhow, can't wait to see what she and Buttle will produce!!

It's going to be really cool to see Eunsoo develop alongside Marin. These two girls are probably the most charismatic skaters of the current field.

I've never thought of Wakaba as someone who's oozing with charisma. She's talented but I don't find her to be particularly charismatic. I also think that Orser would've been a better fit because Eunsoo needs to work on the basics.

Eunsoo moved to Raf.
“Arutunian said he expects South Korea's Eunsoo Lim, 15, fifth at the 2018 World Junior Championships, to arrive by the end of April”

I was about to ask if there is a confirmation on the news, so thanks for providing this info! I'm still on the fence regarding this because more than jumps, I think Eunsoo needs to improve her transitions and spins. But I'm happy that KSU is finally sending out their skaters abroad, so there's that.

Also, isn't she a skater for All That Skate thisMay? Would it be fine for her to fly to Lakewood and then go back to Korea less than a month later?

Maybe it’s okay. She will return to korea 2-3days before the show.

And there’s some Korean article that her management confirmation she moved to Raf offically. And will leave for Los Angeles on the 20th.

Cross my finger for Eunsoo!🤞🤞

Well there goes my guess that it was possibly temporary.:drama: Raf's place seems to be very independent and she knows what she needs so I hope she'll make full use of the better training conditions. I guess I should be happy enough that she's going abroad at all and I guess the focus on spins/SS is about the same as it was in Korea.:noshake: We will see. I'll be eternally happy if we get cute pics of her and Marin! Lakewood is by LA too so Koreatown is right by so I hope eating some Korean food will lessen her homesickness too.

IDK WHAT TO FEEL
Like yeah, I actually don't mind her going to Raf but....like why not somewhere else less crowded and with who will actually work on her weaknesses?

Anyway, it's good that she has a good environment to skate in. Training with Marin should be a good motivation for her. I do hope that the Korean media lay low for this like what they have done with Cha.

I’m for one excited to see Eunsoo with Raf - most of his skaters are gone I suspect so there’s a lot of room. I have never wanted Eunsoo to go to Orser, tbh I’m not that impressed by Cha’s improvement under him. Eunsoo seems to know a good bit of English so I’m not as worried about her adaptation as Marin. I would love to see the two become motivation for each other.
