Translation of the SportsSeoul interview, excuse the wall of text. [] is added words for context, (TN) is translator's note, ie stuff I feel I need to say. I tried to keep her original wording as much as possible.
(subtitles: The future of Korean figure skating, figure fairy Lim Eunsoo)
(TN: The interviewer is mostly edited out of the video, I'm half guessing and half relying on the article for the questions)
Q: First senior season, thoughts? (TN: the subtitles say "First year into the senior scene", but since the season starts in July I thought first season would be more correct)
A: In seniors there are many skaters with a lot of experience and things, so I was pretty amazed by that, and [competing with] top skaters was a helpful experience, I think.
(subtitles: The senior scene, a big help in gaining experiences of interacting with top skaters (TN: The Korean wording is awkward, as a Korean lit major I disapprove))
Q: Comparisons to Yuna?
A: I sometimes do hear [people saying things like] I'm similar to Yuna, but I haven't really thought so... Of course, Yuna is the skater I want to be like most, so of course, I feel good [when I hear things like that]. (TN: she pauses in the middle of saying 'I feel good', like 'I feel... good'. Stop comparing her to the Queen damnit...)
(subtitles: Haven't thought [she's] similar to Yuna... But [Yuna is] the skater [she] wants to be like most, feels good!)
(subtitles: First senior Worlds...)
Q: Thoughts on 4CC?
A: Um... First, I'm in my first senior season, and this is my first time going to 4CC, so I want to have no regrets, [I'd like to] have a good competition and make it a positive experience. And it's Lunar New Year (TN: Lunar New Year was 2/5 this year), I'd very much like to bring back good competition results.
(subtitles: First competition as a senior (TN: I honestly have no idea on this one, she's obviously talking about 4CC but 4CC doesn't have juniors so

), [wants] a competition without regrets, Lunar New Year, hopes for good results)
Q: Thoughts on Worlds?
A: I'm, like, satisfied that I got the Worlds ticket anyway, (subtitles: (proud)x2) but now, at this Worlds, next year, I mean this year, so that I won't be under this much pressure going, and for other skaters to go with me, my goal is to get two tickets [for Korea] no matter what. (TN: Just in case you're confused, she's confident that she's going to 2020 Worlds (with good reason) and she is determined to get two tickets, and not feel as much pressure at the end of this year (the time to prepare for 2020 Worlds) as she felt at the end of 2018. You can tell how much pressure she's been feeling...

)
(subtitles: To not be under pressure, will secure 2 tickets at 2019 Worlds)
(subtitles: Hobbies... Regrets of being a professional athlete)
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: Well, like, I enjoy cooking, I like going out to see movies- going out with mom to see movies, and, I like listening to music too. Just, if you were to count stuff like that, I have a lot of them.
(subtitles: Cooking... Watching movies (with mom)... Listening to music... And so on and so forth)
Q: Any regrets of being a professional athlete?
A: With [my] other friends (TN: she means like her fellow school students, kids her age)? I don't have much... chances, like, of living with them, that would be my biggest regret.
(subtitles: A normal teenager sad about not having much opportunities to spend time with her friends)
Q: Do you hang out with your elementary school friends, middle school friends, or like, contact them and make plans to meet up, anything like that?
A: (squirtle pout, short head shake) Not really.
(subtitles: On conditions, and memorable presents if any)
Q: On your bodily condition?
A: Well, I do train everyday, so I do feel that I'm in good condition or not in good condition [at times], like, there are days when the jumps are light, and days that they aren't that [light], I feel those feelings. (subtitles: Constant training everyday... of course [she] can feel her condition) However, at competitions, it's [your] condition plus, there's the nervousness, so I think it just works out best when I'm at it calmly. (subtitles: At competitions [it's] condition+nervousness... Does best when calm!)
Q: Any memorable presents?
A: Well, all presents are given [to me] in support, so it's not like I have a single present that leaves an impression, I love them all.
Q: What presents do you get?
A: Mostly, I get plushies the most often, and these days, since I'm interested in make-up, [fans] sometimes give me [cosmetics]. (subtitles: Fans mostly give dolls as presents... Nowdays also receives cosmetics) But, like, there aren't that many [fans] who come overseas, only some, so I think they do leave a stronger image. (subtitles: Fans who come overseas to cheer [for her] leave special impressions) (TN: there was an edit between cosmetics and fans who come to see her overseas, not really sure of the context in between... sigh darling I'll save and go see you out of Korea too in the future)
(subtitles: Difficult moments... Thoughts during those times....)
Q: Any difficult moments?
A: I had an injury last year, um...
Q: Where were you injured?
A: Toe fracture. (subtitles: Toe fracture during last season comes to mind) That time, it was a bit difficult, maybe that's why it stands out, but then, like... Always, for real, even in the worst of situations, most of the time I ended up achieving what I'd aimed for, I think. (subtitles: A strong teenager who says no giving up even in the worst of times to achieve her goals) (TN: seriously I want to have some serious conversations with the person who wrote these subtitles, they are corny and awkward) So, those times...
Q: They leave an impression?
A: (nods enthusiastically)
Q: Do you have a special thing you think about when you face hard times?
A: (squirtle smile) Hmm... This too shall pass? (subtitles: Quotes from Eunsoo "This too shall pass") (small giggle)
(subtitles: Lim Eunsoo, the hope of Korean figure skating, has taken her first determined step towards the international stage, We are ever more looking towards her fearless progress, We support her brilliant feats in 2019) (TN: Like seriously who wrote these... And fire the person who designed them the fonts are terrible)
