Evan Lysacek Gushfest

Anyone can be a diva. They don't have to be female or gay. It just means you're awesome and you know it. I think Evan slides into diva a bit sometimes, his footwork is a bit diva, especially when he gets that intense, "I will conquer!" look in his eye. Johnny's a bit diva, but not really with his skating. He skates too inward and soft to be diva in skating. I think he is in life though and more people should be imo.

I don´t see Lysacek being a diva in any way. Instead I see him as somebody who has put and continues putting a lot of hard work into his skating and because of it has become a really tough competitor who naturally wants to place as high as possible like any top skater. Being a tough competitor and not giving up, that is something where Lysacek reminds me of Stojko.

I did not say the similarity was in skating or how they look on the ice...

my mistake I misread/understood...

but Elvis never really seemed to think artistry was needed, so he didn't work on it... but Evan has made strides in that department... so there's my somewhat way of ... I dunno ... *fixing* what i said earlier lol
