Evan Lysacek @ Skate America 2011

I just saw that Evan Lysacek was listed as one of the American men scheduled to compete! Does anyone know more about this?

There was a lot of buzz when the GP entries were first revealed, with Lysacek listed for SA and TEB or maybe it was a TBA for SA. His name must have been added because in this article published Sept 23, he stated his Sochi goal and re SA:

“That’s bold,” Lysacek said of the promotion. “The reason I haven’t made any grand statements about coming back and being there is because I don’t want to be the one responsible for anyone’s disappointment. All I have said, even to them (the federation), is that I am training, and I would like to be in shape for it.

“That’s the only statement I can make at this point. They can take it and run with it in whatever direction they want to run.

Maybe he has confirmed? I haven't read anything about it.
