When did Orser talk about wanting to know Eteri's "secrets"? Because if it's after the first interview she gave, I think he just tried to flatter her to make her shut up and end the question, like "See? I think you're good, no need to dig deeper in this mess" kind of thing... could it be?
Hmmmmm a little at least i think. If you criticize the jumps of a girl, saying that she probably will not land them when she will be senior, it's like saying that the coach shouldn't have teach them or teach them bad. No?
This is the same interview in which she said that she feel that Orser want to challenge her. So i think that actually she closed her mouth since then.

it can be whatever you want to believe, you see. people see Eteri as some sort of witch, so it means that the antagonist is left for Orser here as some posters aka people with 2-polar "bad/good" model prove this with statements like this one, given by you.

Also even if the little girls somehow keep their quads until the next 4 years, the current Orser doesn’t know. Not anyone of us knows. It’s just speculation based on history (Miki Ando remember?). He said “might be” or “maybe”. He didn’t say “she won’t be”.
I don’t know if anyone of us has enough confidence to say “these girls will definitely have consistent quads when they’re 18-19.”.
not mentioning the body damage they might have, she honestly make a fuss over nothing, is not like she teach this girls the quads, they already knew, and he mention it in an interview about that issue, he didnt mention Trusova just because he wanted too

In that case I can name many more coaches better than both of themRight now NO ONE compares to her school of skating, as the results are phenomenal and progressing each time we see her skaters. She wants a boy-champion and I think she'll get there too, no doubt
Yes, what else is there to use to compare records? No one can predict the future. Her young skaters may or may not result in World and Olympic gold medals. And if we just take the past quad, she has two World gold medal winners, an Olympic gold medal winner and an Olympic silver medalist. Orser has an OGM winner, an Olympic bronze medal winner and three World gold medal winners, two World silver medal winners and two World bronze medal winners. Certainly Brian has the best coaching record of anyone in the past 4 years.

Can they please give a more extensive translation and elaborate on the context in which they were spoken? What's their interpretation of her words? They didn't hear the irony and sarcasm in her words? Do they tell you she said her words straight-faced?

Oh, let's give names then. His star students that come to mind are...Yu-na, Yuzu and Havier. I hear nothing about new students. At the same time Eteri has Zhenia, Alina and quad-girls + a lot of promising other students (not to say Yulia, who gave her fame). The promise and potential of school is on Eteri's side

Ok, so I'm a native Russian speaker as well and yeah, her tone is "mischievous", as you put it. But that doesn't change the fact that she alleges Orser is jealous of the success she has with her students. Of Trusova's quads, to be precise, but the way they cut it, you wouldn't know that's what she was talking about if you hadn't heard the bit from last week. Sure, she says it in this joking manner, but the joke's at his expense.
