She will broaden her artistic range as an adult. Relate more to the audience which Orange Sky was supposed to do.

She can see a lot of Canada from coast to coast.

It's really exciting watching the amazing juniors. I mean, they're out of this world. But there's something special in Zhenya. And it's not just how she's changed this season. It's the experience she's gained, she's been a senior for 4 years after all. It's definitely the shows too. Just like someone else said before, she might not have more time to train, but she'll improve in other aspects too. I think shows are great for all skaters, which why I'm excited when they invite juniors like Anna last year too.

Edit: OMG lol I have the memory of a goldfish! Apparently that "someone else before" was emdee just before my post lol

I think the shows are good for Zhenya. And last years shows helped her so much.

Just saw some additional photos from the banquet and Zhenya really does look stunning. She rocked that black dress & her hair and make up we’re perfection. During the weekend someone posted that Zhenya “blossumed” over the last year. I couldn’t agree more!

Underappreciated fact: Evgenia tried 3 new combos this season: 3Sal-3Loop; 2Axel-3Toe and 2Axel-3Loop. (Please correct me if I missed anything). She did not have 100% success rate, but I think it's so great that during her transition year, she tried a variety of new combos after essentially sticking to the same ones in the past years.

If you look closely, when she took center ice as she was about to begin her FS, she rotated her right leg pretty purposefully before the music started. I hope she’s already had it checked; great decision not to jump during the gala.

I'm sure she went to a doctor. She's so professional!

Experience does include jumps too or at least the ex that is as on you tube had two jumps in it last year.

This season Zhenya end up with a world's bronze medal.

I remember that Patrick Chan’s beautiful Elegy began with Jeff and him fooling around with music and movements.

I really think Jeff would be perfect for her. He really feels the music as does she.

I think personally that Shae works better with skaters who already have a definite idea of what they want in their program. She may be great for Zhenya next year as she matures.

Lori is cookie cutter but great for adding up the marks.
