I think Ilya could make a gorgeous SP for Zhenya. I love the SP he did for her Olympic season and I think his style could match Exogenesis very well. I would love to see Jeffrey Buttle do her free.

I agree.

Yeah, exactly :sarcasm:

I'm not quite sure about him doing a competitive program again for Zhenya. My favourite program of Zhenya is without a doubt WE, which he choreographed. I also liked his programs from the 2016-2017 season except for the beginning and the end, that is: the miming parts. I can even tolerate the controversial voiceovers in her fp.

However, if he does Zhenya's choreo for next season I hope he is way more inspired than in the Olympic one: her short program was ok but I think it still lacked the wow factor and the leftovers program... "Only the dress was pretty" as Zhenya said.

Still if Zhenya wants to work with him, I'll support her in this decision, as she must
have a good reason. She now has more control on her programs than before and that can be a positive factor.

River flows in you... Is great.

I gotta be honest I am not a fan his choreography at all! This seems like a step back imo artistically. I was hoping she’d work with Shae Lynn

Idk, I hope I don't sound too harsh but that Ariana Grande program looks so..cheap in comparison to the one with the red dress. The good thing is this is only a show and it's the right place to try out different styles. In my opinion, skating to melancholic / classical music and portraying dramas is her thing. There's no other female skater who comes close to her in that department. That's why I'm still wondering why she's so keen on those sassy (or in my eyes, more like cheerleading) programs. I know that people pressure her to change her style and try something new but I think she already went out of her comfort zone this season (successfully) - and I am speaking about her Beautiful mess gala. It was different, it was modern and still very sensual, even her costume was a little bit provocative but just enough to not be too much. And she acted so well and was radiating such a maturity and understanding of the theme she was presenting.

Well, you cannot judge her since she has the right being an ordinary, sassy, pop-loving girl. If she's happy doing that, I'm happy for her too. All I know that she really loves Billie Eilish and I'm hoping that one day she skates one of Billie Eilish's songs, idontwannabeyouanymore would be a lovely choice :)

Geez, it's an exhibition so why not trying something different and having fun?
