That‘s actually a very good argument. Hm. Maybe she was going for 3S+3Lo+3Lo or something like that? :scratch2:

I guess we‘ll have to wait for tomorrow and see what she does there. Zhenya sure does know how to keep us speculating!

Honestly, if Zhenya is brave enough to already attempt a 4S without harness in a show, I am sure we will see her do it in practice this season at least and not just in season 2020/21 like she announced.
I think Zhenya is really being smart. She did her shows when most people were on vacation, so she has time to train now, while a lot of people are still doing shows in July and August.

I agree completely. The 4S seems to become more and more realistic. Jumping in show light is pretty hard, so for her first attempt to be there.. just wow. I don‘t see a reason why we shouldn‘t at least see an attempt in training this season.

Agree on the second part, too. She‘s been skating non-stop so far and while I do hope she at least rests a few days after her shows now, I think they are also a lot of fun for her. She loves skating, she had a great time getting to explore Canada and meeting new people. I think the Stars on Ice Canada tour may actually have been a bit like holiday for her. She also made sure to recover from her injury while still not losing form. Her SP at least also has a bit of choreography ready already. And now she‘ll get back to training while others will still do shows. It‘s relieving, to be honest, especially after the stressful off-season she (and we) had last year.

Or mabye she really tried a 4s, just saying.. and if those infos are true, to only have a step out is wow. But as of now we do not know if those info are true or not

Yeah, I‘m not saying she didn‘t. Just trying to go through the options. We don‘t know for sure but I hope someone miraculously managed to capture the attempt on video and illegally publishes it. :laugh:

If the rumours about the step-out would turn out to be true, it would be totally insane.

It has to have been a 4S... otherwise, do we have her [only] third time in senior career to fall on a 3S?

She must have trained it already [or started to] at TCC. Didn't she say she also also tried 3A but her coaches said no, go do a quad? Also remember Brian said "although [her] quad toe is good, too" in an interview? Above all, I don't think she will do a YOLO 4S attempt in a show... I mean, I hope not!

Just out of curiosity, when did she fall on a 3S? Which competitions?

I also hope it wasn‘t a yolo attempt. I mean, it wouldn‘t suit her to do something reckless like that. She‘s been so careful with her injuries and recovering. No, if this was indeed a quad attempt, she must have done some before to try it here.

Don't you remember WTT gala, the part with Zhenya, Shoma and Yuzu? :laugh:

I agree that if It was a 4S attempt, she must have landed It in trainning, before Worlds. It is also a good time to remember Brian's interview where he said that Zhenya's 4T wasn't bad either.:biggrin:

So the answer is NEVER in competition!!!

Ah, that was hilarious. Still one of my favourite moments ever. But it‘s not a competition, so it doesn‘t count. :p But I guess NoviceFan said senior career, this doesn’t specify competitions only so includes exhibition as well. I stand corrected. :laugh:
 
I loved how in the group number, Evgenia was dancing so sharply and really got into the vibe of the music. Her hairband was a perfect match as well.
