She travels so much further in the last 2A, and makes it look less of an effort. Though, interestingly, she extends and bends the free leg twice in it, while in the 2017 and 2018 ones she only does it once. My internet is spotty, though, so I'll look at the rest later, but thank you for sharing the link!

I noticed Rika also bends the free leg twice for her axels, and some other skaters I can’t remember right now. I don’t care about it, because it seems to work.

I saw Zhenya’s SP many times and I keep getting excited to tears. I've been dreaming with this performance since the season began. That smile at the end and that glow in her eyes, Oh my God! What her heart should be feeling, her soul! She deserved so much to live that moment and in her own home.
Each athlete has an own story but as we all know, Zhenya's story is absolutely unique. And maybe that is what makes us live it in such a special way. It’s amazing to experience that feeling, that feeling that she achieves in us. Yesterday I thought about how many of us, from different parts of the world, had our mind and our heart in her at that time. Regardless of the place, just wanting her to do it right ... and she did it!
Today is another story, surely in the FP the other girl with her quads will explode the marker because this is indicated by logic. But I don’t care. Today I wish Zhenya the same thing I wished her yesterday: that everything goes well. Because regardless of what happens today, yesterday's story won’t change and will remain forever in Zhenya's mind and heart as well as ours.

Speechless... Still can't get a gold in GP since coaching change
Fabulous performance. Evgenia should have been first. This is more than a jumping sport. Evgenia embodies the athletic and artistic side. I get that Alexandra would decisively win the technical side by 20 points, rightfully so. But only a 7 point difference in components between Evgenia and Alexandra? Judges: Time to score the components for what they stand for - how you skate, not what you did.

I doubt she'd be second today if she stayed with Tutberidze.
I got the impression that her old coaching team didn't care much about her health or her jumping technique. (And I really wonder if this was one of the reasons she left)

Just came home and saw the results. Omg a new seasons best. I am so happy for Zhenya. Cannot wait to see her FS
