"Will I go to GPF? No, this is obvious. When I skated in the past, I just went out and did the content, never thought about the layouts. Now I concentrate for today - yesterday after the short I made sure that the makeup was good, I liked the costume, and focused on the free.
I have already said that I’m doing my best to show the 4S. I don’t have a specific date when this can happen, it’s the same as asking when I’ll finish my career. For me, the main thing is to maintain my health, because I’m not ready to jump on broken bones. Yes, I had a difficult period in my life, it’s stupid to deny it. For a long time I forgot about social media, about the hype that was around my departure. Many factors put pressure on me morally, but now I feel much free.”

I just watched everything again, I watched it live but I covered my eyes every time she was going to jump :laugh:. Now I can comment with more property. Congratulations . Zhenya :yahoo:!!! I was already mentally prepared for a silver and in reality the GP doesn't interest me much, since it's too predictable.


I'm happy for her two clean programs and for the medal. But, the truth is that I expected at least 150 points . Her TES dropped 4 points, I know it's obviously because lutz..., but also her first Spin was only level 3, she lost about 2 points.
I'm glad her pcs were the highest, she deserve them totally (I'm also a fan of Satoko, but she wasn't clean today).This is a small victory that will surely restore her confidence. now she can go safer to compete in the Nationals and get a position for the World Championships or the Europeans.

I can't help wondering what she can do technically before adding the 4s. We know that she can do a 3F-3Lo, 2A-3Lo, 3S-3Lo, etc. At the moment she has a 3F-2t, and 2A-3T-2T in the second half of the program, why has she never put a 2A-3T-2Lo? , that always called my attention (She can also do spirals, and I think the spins she uses in her EXs are pretty cute, for the camel-spin she holds her hands on her back, and looks better, but in competitions she doesn't do it and somehow it look more scattered ...). Anyway, I'm satisfied for the moment.

I think that Zhenya's score is +/- correct, just another skater has overscoring.
For me, she is a winner, because she was able to overcome herself, finally gaining stability, gave us such emotions and joy. I look forward to the exhibition, eager to see what costume she came up with for this.
 
Another new interview.

As soon as I got used to my place of residence, as soon as I fell in love with the place where I work, I want to return to Cricket Club.
There were many unpleasant factors. They attributed to me words that I didn’t say, there were a lot of things. But after the World Championships, there was a turning point, and now I feel more free."
 
What a beautiful performance! She was quick, but she didn't rush; she gave every moment its due; and that radiant look of joy on her face at the end was priceless. What astonishes me most is that Sasha opened that (deservedly) massive gap in technical elements in the free, with her usual dynamite skating, but that the final total difference between her score and Evgenia's was less than ten points, which I think shows the sheer quality of Evgenia's performance today. She was marvellous, and I really hope she has her confidence back, because I could watch her skate like this over and over again.

I saw that too which shows that zhenya is getting closer and is still a force to be reckon with., if she atsoempoint in the future does include a 4s and she lands it than she will be up there with them . But I am so happy that she had 2 clean skates, and to see her radiating of joy was soo soon fantastic to see
 
So proud and happy for Zhenya. Two great skates at home is what she deserves.

I'm so impressed and once again reassured by her interview answers that she has a great mindset about the future. She's taking her health seriously and is setting herself up well for longevity. I have a feeling we'll continue to be watching her for a long time to come.

What an amazing performance. Her jump were so effortless today. She was light on her feet, more speed, better SS...such an improvement. Frankly she should have won over a messy 2 fall skate by Trusova (regardless of the the quads). Skating is about a whole package not just jumps.
Anyway, congrats Zhenya! We are all very proud of you. So inspiring!!!!!
