From all her galas this is my favourite by far :luv17: I always thought graceful music and choreo were her thing, but oh boy, that roughness and all the drama and emotions suit her so well. I'm glad we can see another side of her beautiful soul. Just speechless :agree2:

I'm not watching the European Championship but I saw the result via facebook, I'm sad that she lost her title but I agree with some it's going to motivate her even more to get the medal of gold in the Olympics, and aside from the 2A in the short, it has not made much of a mistake. I love her new dress and her clip in her hair makes it all fit. Decidedly 3 S and 2A are cursed this season;

All good things must come to an end and the undefeated streak Zhenya had is nothing short of spectacular! I'm so proud of her accomplishments!
However, there has been a very heavy sadness in my heart since the competition concluded yesterday. I have a horrible feeling that the OGM is now out of Zhenya's control and she will have to hope that Alina makes mistakes.
I was scared this would happen but I thought Alina might not be able to make up the gap in time. It's very unfortunate because Zhenya's skating gives me so much joy and I've been hoping for years now that she would win the ultimate figure skating prize--that elusive Olympic gold medal. Now it seems to be a far more difficult goal than I ever thought. :sad21:
The only good thing about Zhenya losing in PC is that she will most likely stay in for 4 more years so we will have so much more of her skating to look forward to. I did think she would stay in even if she won in PC, but she definitely will if she loses. It will also make the journey far more sweeter if she is able to persevere and win in 2022.

She's usually fine with axels, it's the lutz the bigger problem, and she made progress with it in practice vids but it's gone when she get a little bit nervous. It's just she's not yet back to form, yes, physically maybe she's ready but not mentally, when something hurt once you naturally hesitate to do anything involving that place even when it's healed = loss of confidence. She admits that she still has some hesitations in recent interview . She still has a chance in PC, please believe T^T
