Both music choices are brilliant. SP music is very demanding, high rhythm, a lot of body work, amazing to represent new Evgenia. And tango is very intricate, I hope David will make his best for this program to be remembered. He can be a total control freak when working on artistry and presentation but that is only to let his skaters shine. Can't wait to see both programs. I hope Evgenia chooses to skate at Autumn Classic as her first B event of the season.

I agree, out of the 2 programs I am the most excited about the tango - and I actually think tango will be easier for her than bubbly jazz because she's more used to drama!

Yeah, I'd rather that we just get it as a treat at occasional shows and galas. I think it would interfere with her programs, distracting her and such when it gets in her face. I want her to be able to focus entirely on the skating and not worry about her hair or her costume or anything else. I actually don’t always love when singles skaters skate to tango because it’s harder to convey the subtlety and sharpness of the dance without a partner. I'd say Averbukh has been pretty supportive of Zhenya throughout this whole process, minus the comment about Orser - but that's just a battle of egos isn't it
other than that, he's been really nice towards Zhenya and even helped her pick the music for her Experience EX!I'm also glad that she's skating to something that she's always wanted to skate to!
