Considering the things Averbukh has said in the past, I am surprised he wasn't more rude about Evgenia.

I couldn't really see the improvement in the axel, but that looks quite a lot better, which is great!
This is great, thank you! I think for me it was because I'm not very experienced, and it's hard when it's not side by side.If someone still has some problems with seeing any improvement in her 2A here is the nice comparison with GIFs.

But I am glad that he and others are directing their misplaced and unwarranted vitriol to Brian, who is tough, can take it, does everything to protect the skaters in his care, and could care less what anyone says about him, because he’s all about his skaters.
What are you talking about? Of all the public figures in both countries, Brian received the least criticism.

Her 2A is a very noticeable improvement. It's strange because she's always struggled with it but in all of the warmups and in her programs at the test skates (besides one time) it looked like one of her easiest and better jumps. I wonder what they did? It must've been a small change that made all of the difference.
Alexander Svinin and Irina Zhuk (coaches of Stepanova/Bukin).Does anyone recognize the man and the woman in the first video?
It'd be wicked cool if they eventually want to set her up with a 3A and 4S to be competitive with the upcoming juniors. It'd be insanely difficult, but one can dream, eh?
