I can't confirm or deny, but I'll go look it up. I think that if she manages fifth or fourth tomorrow though, she might be able to make up for it by getting first or second at her next GP!

No. Anything can happen in the FS too. Short program is a very small part of overall score for an event but it does mean you have to work for it in FS. It’s not over until it is over for this event. Just one mistake. As for the overall prix? No way. It is based on point totals not on top three positions and you receive points in two point descending increments based on position. So you have to take her point totals for all her prix events and she has to be in top six. She will come back tomorrow.

No miracle is needed. There's 'only' 6 points difference between Zhenya (7th) and 2nd place. She will have to dig deep but it's certainly not impossible.
