I've made the subtitles to this video with Evgenia, because I think this video shows, that Evgenia feels what a tragedy is, and her attitude is very respectful.
(Yes, anyway, Evgenia is nearly a child, but all normal Russians teach their children to remember and to understand such things. Parents are teaching, teachers, coaches, even good journalists. All normal adults are teaching. No, we don't speak about wars or revolutions every day, but... a child notices, that all normal adults say the same things.)
On this video Evgenia tells about her relatives, who participated in The Second World War:

I don't start a new discussion here. We understand, why many of you are against this theme. I think all the words against it were already said.
I don't say, that Averbukh and Tutberidze are right. I don't say, that this program will be good. I only say, that the adult Russians know what a pain is. And when they speak about such pain, they speak about love.
It is not bad, if Evgenia will smile after her program, because the program is about love. She tries to say, that she loves people, that her feelings are the same with your feelings. I think, her behavior will be modest enough, but it is not bad, if she will smile.
Often we nearly can't breath, when we feel pain, we nearly cry, yet we smile...
Here I answered, why the Russians want to remember the tragedies, why they need to talk about such pain:

Here was mentioned the terrorist attack, which Eteri Tutberidze has outlived:

In this reply I tried to tell a little about the tragedies, which were close enough to me, though I am younger than Averbukh or Tutberidze:

Averbukh says: "we really care about the same things". I knew nothing about Averbukh's new LP, when I said on this forum: "The Russians need to be united. If all the nations of Russia would be able to respect each other, it would be not so hard for them to respect all other nations of the world." I can say again: we need this indeed, our behavior is similar, as you see. The songs in my first post in that thread were the songs about love in times of a war.
I've added two more very gentle and very important songs (you can see them later):

I watched this LP again... Maybe it is even right, that it seems to us, that the skater doesn't hear those sounds, which we hear?.. I mean, that a tragedy happens somewhere, but we know nothing about it (or we don't know enough)... we are still busy with our ordinary life, the skaters are still skating their cheerful programs, they smile after those programs, and nobody says, that it is cynical to skate a cheerful program... Maybe it is right, that we don't like to see this deafness, when we watch Evgenia's program? Maybe it is right, that we want to change something?..
Well, anyway, I don't know, what they meant and what they will do with this program later.
But I like, that the sound of the phone is old-fashioned and rude. Such a sound even was compared with a sound of a machine-gun. (but I am not sure, that many Russians know about this comparison) And maybe such a sound of a phone is also a sound from our childhood...
