I love that subtle little jab from the commentator about her programs all being so similar.
Even when they throw shade Canadians are so nice. But seriously, Evgenia has got to be the most likable, dominant champion in recent memory and I think she just gained the adoration of an entire country with her flawless performances and adorkable anime exhibition. I hope she gets better programs though...cause Averbukh is really proving himself to be a one hit wonder.

How do you think, in which aspect you can increase the difficulty of your programs?
“(jumping) Cascades. I have to improve my Lutz. The truth is, it’s not the first time I mentioned that, but I have to do it. Yes, I don’t have the most difficult layout, I am aware of that.
Very professional and sincere approach. I imagine she will add 3lz-3Lo cascade το her programs next year.

yes. she recognizes her weaknesses and works to fix or disguise them. And i remember she mentioned about spins too. That she need to speed up her spins.

I think it was in the beginning of this season. And I'm not professional but from unprofessional point of view her spins speed is improved, no? But of course she would work on it even harder taking into consideration her and Eteri's perfectionism.
Also I would like to see some new spins next year. Let's see what Averbukh can come up with )))
Sailor Moon is still very popular in Asia so no suprise here, especially as Zhenya was so adorable
Even thinking about it makes me worry about her
Every time someone speaks about quad for ladies I'm totally scared. On the other hand Eteri and Sergey are very good coaches. I don't think they will take unnessesary risks on her health. At least I hope so.

It's amazing. Despite being on top she always finds the way to improve and push the sport forward
It's what I love about her: she is self-aware of her mistakes and she does everything not to repeat them. Her 3Lz still isn't perfect but it's so much better than last year
