I'm a skeptic on this Medvedeva program. There are some nice moments in it but they're just moments and all at the beginning.
1. It's easy to dismiss the errors since it's just an test skate, but I have no doubt whatsoever she will have more errors doing this program than her previous layout. There is just a lot more she has to mentally process when she get's into her 2nd half of jumps. Her worst jumps fall/stepout wise wise are 3Lz, 2A, 3F in that order. Previously she was able to tick off a 3F-3T combo and the 3Lz and now she has to contend with the 3Lz and all combinations in the 2nd half.
2. Previously she had more crisp step sequences that balanced out her having to kind of skate through the music setting up her jumps passes... and now she has a less crisp step sequence with an additional jump pass in the 2nd half.
If I were designing a program for Medvedeva I'd go with 2A 2A 3Lz | 3F 3F 3S 3Lo with combinations on 3Fs and 3S with 3Lo as a back up. I'd also consider looking into what the Canadian ladies often do which is end with a step sequence(and often their choreographic sequence next to it).
(FWIW, I didn't like her FS last year at the test skate but did like it at the Japan Open)
It's a big jarring how awesome I find Medvedeva's SP and how skeptical I am of the LP.

hwell:

I think sky blue will be perfect for her SP as it's about a soul and gold for her FS
