Thank you! I already felt better after knowing that it's not a cast. I'm telling myself to calm down and get away from the internet till the final decision but still checking for information every 5 min :palmf: :laugh: Crazy!

I would love to hear her plea. There's no video, is there?

Mad props to Zhenya. It's stressful enough to miss GPF and recover, now she is part of a delegation fighting for her country's right to compete in the OG. Nothing but respect from me for this amazing once-in-a-generation talent!

True that!
Tbh, she's not my favorite skater, but I admire her strength so much!
She's already having to deal with an injury and now she has to deal with IOC/Russia/Olympic ban mess??? That's too much!
But she looked super confident on the video (besides looking stunning!).
Props to Med for being such a brave girl! <3
I believe that in the end everything will work out for her just fine. Fingers crossed!
 
:confused: Now a big question mark! Do you think we still have a chance to see Zhenya at the Oly games? Even if it's under neutral flag?

Evgenia will always be golden in my eyes, no matter what happens. That's all I will say on the matter. :cry:
 
And to think that almost a year ago I imagined Zhenya carrying the Russian flag during the Olympics.....

Evgenia Medvedeva does not deserve this.

That’s it, nothing more to say. I doubt she’ll compete under those terms, but we’ll see what happens.
 
Regardless of people's opinions on the decision, it's happened, and I just hope now that all the Russian skaters (other athletes too) will be allowed to compete, but especially Zhenya. Even though Kaetlyn is my favourite lady, I also love Zhenya and I want to see her win gold. She deserves it.
 
Most elite athletes get one chance in their lives to go to the Olympics, experience the atmosphere, the parade, the attention, the emotions... to think that these skaters might not have a chance when they got so close to their dream is heartbreaking.
