I'm not saying they need to be 15 to be a skater. But when the body grows up they simply need more care. Keeping up with too strict rules would just be asking for injuries, when they're younger it heals fast, but they're not like that forever. Worse, can be career ending injuries.
Can you ask Kostner to follow those teenagers' training regimen?
Eteri sounds like she's in favor of more intensive training's rather than sensible training. Think more, not add more is good.

"if this true" , btw i'm thinking maybe she only means no slacking off. But it's true that they don't seem to know how to manage health problems, the decision they took at nhk still stings.

If THEY "don't seem to know how to manage health problems" ..... What will you say about Yuzuru....? who still don't even know what is wrong with his foot.
So no.. They're managing health problems well. Evgenia was sent to Germany and received all the treatment she needed. And fully recovered.

yeah, let her skate with a crack, that can turn into a full blow break and bye bye olympics.
why do you drag yuzu's case here, i'm talking about zhenya. But if you want to hear:
1. He WD from every competitions following the injury, he wanted to heal as fast as possible because Olympics is priority.
2. There were complications in Canada and he focused on treatments, spent his time off ice until 3 weeks before olympics.
3. Competed at the Olympics, accepting that it can be career ending because with his age this may as well be his last olympics.
4. They already planned his treatments but *** fed schedules for interviews are packed.

This is a very PERSONAL opinion but as much as I'd like to be concerned with Zhenya's health... let's wait and see... I don't know how many adults have Eteri trained (or is willing to train tbh) but her main priority is preteens and 15 year olds at this point. I don't know but I think that changing coaches would be "lethal" to the girls' careers. Zagi just began her professional career and Zhenya well she is too "old"/well known at this point to change coaches. I think a lot of rumours would be spreading about her... negative ones... Which would not benefit her. Anyways I remember seeing Osmond and Medo skating at the Olympics on my TV and my first impression of Osmond was how much more healthier she looks than Zhenya. I am not saying that Zhenya is unhealthy or anything it just always makes me sad when girls are made to be concerned or worried about their weight. I really wish Orser would have Zhenya on his team, but I think it is late now. I don't think changing coaches would benefit her. BUT I would love to see a Lambiel+Medvedeva collaboration just one time plssss

Ohhhh... According to the interview poor Alina was sick on the flight back home and even had fever(?).... Zhenya is so cute XD how she feels like figure skating truly unites people 
Interesting how Yagudin brought up the conflict that he and Plushenko had under the same coach when talking about Alina and Eteri XD but this Zhenya and Alina are friends so :3
"You are a young and beautiful girl." Are there any sympathies for a particular person?

HONESTLY thoooo, that one interview with Zhenya and her mom when they asked her (right in front of her mom lol) if she was in love.... Now this one lol my girl just got back from Olympics with a silver after an injury... uhhhhhhh this is so awkward :rofl2:
