about the increase in Bv and complexity, I think she needs to make new combinations with Loop, and at the same time practice the 4s, but first build a layout in competitions with 3F-3Lo, 3s-3Lo, 3 + 2 + 2. Then, when she have mastered 4s she can try it in some competition, maybe in Nationals this season, and then in the GP of the subsequent season. I trust Zhenya a lot and I know that she will become stronger.:agree:

@LittleLary, boyfriend last year? I doubt it, in the documentary 1 + 1, when she was 16 she said she didn't have a boyfriend, at 17 she had to defend her titles and she had many hours of training, so I think it is impossible for her. She only mentioned that she fell in love once and that helped her, nothing more.
I doubt very much that these girls who train all day, have time for that

When Zhenya gets the 4S (because she WILL because she is a BOSS)
she can do:

I’ll give her the 4S, but then also say that I want her to train a 3Lo+3Lo. It’s maybe her strongest jump and we know she can do +3Lo in practice.
If so, she could do one better than that layout:

3F + 3T

And she could also raise her SP base value higher with 3Lo+3Lo, 3F instead of 3F+3T, 3Lo.
Edit: Actually, I thought of this a bit more seriously and I really do think it might be a good idea, because doing two edge jump combos and only one toeloop in combo should be easier on her foot than the 3 toeloop combinations she does now.

I agree that she should definitely add a -3Lo combo starting from next year, and she can work on her 4S if she wants to debut it in the season after, if she can get it! The one wish I have is that she takes out 2A-2T-2T, I think it's her worst jumping pass bc it's very laboured and slow. I can't wait to see how she upgrades!

They are riskier than her -3T combos and, up until this season, she never needed a -3Lo combo to win. Now, with Alina and her junior peers creeping closer and closer, she will definitely want to up her game, as she herself said.
I understand why they didn't want to include it in Olympic season but if they keep her doing the same layout for 4th year in the row I will riot

The thing is, without the 4S, the layouts cohen-esque and I pointed out are unviable because there's an extra jumping pass to fulfill and all 7 triples already in.
