One does not need to have perfect english to be able to communicate, her level is more than enough for everyday communication. I dont think Wakaba is very strong in english either. But they communicate just fine so close topic.

Her english actually is very good, she is now even reading books in english and she gave an entire interview in english, so we can say it’s pretty accurate. Not even the americans has a good perfect english so.

So when is she and Alina Zagitova going to visit the US? I wonder if she is recognized everywhere she goes outside of Russia. Maybe that's why she likes going to Japan and other Asian countries, because of the peace and quiet. She must be the most famous person in Russia besides Putin. She probably can't go anywhere in public without being asked for autographs.

I can’t see her doing 3A. Alena Kostornaia is the only Eteri girl with great axel and it isn’t Eteri’s technique. However I think 4S is doable. Also 3Lo is Zhenya’s money jump but I’m afraid that 4Lo would be really bad for her hips
Sorry for double post but figure skaters aren’t really popular in Russia compared to other athletes. Zhenya pnce said she uses public transport and she isn’t really recognised

I do think 4S is doable! 3A probably not considering her 2A is quite weak

I think she mentioned in one of her new interviews that when she uses her glasses people actually don’t recognize her but without them they know who she is. She’s more famous and popular now, maybe not in that level of Putin, but definitely she is popular.

I read an article it is now number three sport (after icehochey and football) in Russia. Also she said in the last interview that she is now often recognize on the streets in Russia.

Oh yes. My point is I dnt think yuzu and zhenya would be able to have a deep conversation for long because of the language barrier. Yuzu usually needs a translator lol.

She already mentioned a few times that she wanted to land a 4S. And since 3S is considered as one of her strongest jumps, I'm guessing it's the easiest bet for her right now. I did wonder about 4Lo too, but I don't know if it is doable or not. I'm surprised to hear that she wants to try 3A. In addition to 2A not being one of her strong jumps, I remember reading that axel in general isn't one of her favorite jumps either. But I'm assuming she'd require at least a couple of years to acquire a new jump, right? As a more immediately achievable goal, I'd like to see a 3-3-3 combination from her in the next season
But of course, the first and most important thing for her is to recover right now. I hope she can fully recover by May and her training program won't get affected from this injury any longer
