Caro is definitely a good role model for Zhenya!

I think it’s okay to have accents! I lost mine almost completely living in the UK for 3 years and studying languages at Uni, but I find people like it when they spot traces of Italian still lingering there

OT but I’m so jealous I’ve been trying to get rid of my accent for almost 5 years and somehow instead of RP accent I have now French accent Have no idea how I did it never living in France nor learning French

And the French accent is terrible, I try to get rid of mine for several years but I don't make any progress

I was thinking that if Zhenya lives in Canada, she might learn French as well as English, as both languages are commonly used there (but French is not spoken in Toronto I believe ).

When I visited Iceland group of Brits in my hostel was so sure that I was from France they tried to talk with me in French.

If I remember well only small percentage of people in Ontario speaks French as their mother tongue and I don’t think more than 10% is bilingual with French as their second language.
