Evgenia Medvedeva

I've seen people claiming that those bullets and new rules are going to be negative for Zhenya, but I don't understand; i admit that I don't know FS very well, but it looks to me that she usually has every bullets on her jumps :scratch2: The first one might be controversial, but it is incredibly subjective, so...
So wait if someone like Boyang (is the fan in me showing lol), who I believe has those 3 bullets in his jumps, get that +4/+5 goe for having those three bullets or does he have to get other bullets as well? 🤔

You have +1 per bullets, but in order to get +4 or +5 the first 3 bullets must be there. You can't have +5 GOE without "a good height and a good length", but you can't have +5 with only the first 3 bullets  (not sure it answers the question, but I tried :drama: )

Yes, I understood well. Thank you. So I guess judges will give 4s and 5s very few times then...

At least that's the theory, but it's possible that they just give GOE points pretty "randomly" as they did before
(as long as they do it with Zhenya I don't mind  )

I do hope she'll keep such a hairstyle for the next season, or at least something similar, it suits her so good!

I wonder if Brian will have Evgenia jump without tano/rippon since they are not a bullet point in the GOEs anymore and I don’t think he’s a big fan of that?

Even if they are out of the goe's, don't they still contribute to pcs?

Not really! PCS have skating skills, transitions and then all the interpretation/performance/composition part. Tano/rippon doesn’t really have much to do with that

Also after some time skater develops muscle memory and it might be hard at the beginning to get rid of them. Besides I think Brian wasn't mad at Elizabet doing tanos but he was mad at her doing tanos when her jumps weren't stable.

Her "Memory" dress would be perfect for R&J program  Preferably Abel Korzeniowski's version

Tano/Rippon can absolutely be used to increase choreographic emphasis of certain jumps, or to interpret music better. Like a stunning element. That's how they were used before they became ubiquitous.

Yes sure! I didn’t mean that Brian would ban tanos or rippon altogether :) I just wonder if he’ll have her keep them on almost all the jumps as she used to do up until now!
