I don‘t get that, why would they leave both Gubanova and Panenkova in juniors knowing that they likely won‘t have a chance against Trusova, Kostornaya and Sherbakova? In seniors however we only have Zhenya and Alina but they could compete with Radio, Pogo, Polina and Masha for Russian #3... Very weird..

Lists of Russian national team are published http://fso.forum.cool/click.php?htt...=http://fsrussia.ru/files/docs/RUteam1819.pdf

B. Orser & T. Wilson now officially coaches Sambo-70 lol. From bad - Panenkova is left in juniors...
That left me puzzled. I don't believe they could leave Gubanova in juniors. What possible reason is there? Don't see any. It is a perfect time for her and Panenkova to come up and make a statement, the competition in juniors is much higher, so they may be lost in there. If it stays so, i will be incredibly disappointed.

Konstantinova in main team over Gubanova and Panenkova seems a little... implausible... but I hope it's just funding and not actual levels

Does this mean Zhenya is definitely getting RusFed funding?

I guess so?? I would think so

It doesn‘t seem implausible it sounds downright ridiculous. I like Stanislava for her personality because she seems like a nice girl but honestly, she just can‘t compete with the other Russians. So why on earth don‘t they stop rewarding her for achievements she never brought to the team? She bombed at almost every competition and while it‘s personally for sad for her, it‘s just unfair to the other skaters who could stand a chance but never get it in the first place ?? It‘s not Konstantinova‘s fault, of course, but I can‘t help but feel angry at this. Where‘s the logic in this ??

Aww this is great! Gabby is so sweet and I can’t wait for Zhenya to train in such a supportive team!
Yeah, I imagine that it will be a big boost for Daleman. She doesn't get to be the top female in the class any longer, but she gets to study and aim for the best, the same way Alina did. I can't imagine that it hurts to be able to watch your training partner each day, studying them, and knowing that that's who you have to beat. If you can beat her, you're the best. That was probably a huge advantage for Alina, and now Gabby gets to enjoy it. Zhenya's just going to be pushed by another woman no matter where she goes, so it's no different for her, except that this time, her training partner isn't a national rival, which will probably make it less...tense. I mean, I know they were friendly, especially before Alina became a senior, but that couldn't have been an entirely comfortable relationship. This should have less friction assuming their personalities mesh.

Exactly. Besides, let's be honest, Gabby isn't really a direct threat for Zhenya as Alina was last season. This might change during the season, but at the moment they're not really fighting the same battle (Zhenya and Alina are fighting for gold, the others for... bronze  ), so there should be way less tensions than there were in Russia :)

Haha Yeah, I just didn't want to say that, but yes.

Is that her I spot doing a 3-3? Anyone know what 3-3 this is? Gosh With Yuzu and his 4T and Zhenya and her 3-3 at FAOI, Brian must be thinking "Kids - take it easy! I better fly to Japan right away!!!"

Yup, that's our girl, but I'm too big a rookie to tell the jumps apart. I know what a flying camel, a skid spiral, a cantilever, and a hydroblade are, and that's it.

That didn't stop me from ranting like I know something when Alina won the gold, though.

I'm pretty sure that's a 3Lz - 3T. I like it how they're friendly with Yuzu at the end, I think he's showing her something about the jumps. I just hope this doesn't get viral and people start the shipping again.
On the jumps, I can't notice whether the lutz is correct edge or not, but I think both of them were with a tano. I'm glad she can enjoy this rink time and that so far we've seen her do 4 different jumps ^^
