Evgenia Medvedeva

That‘s what I thought, too. It could happen to everyone. Zhenya could have stumbled. Alina, too. Ice is slippery. Doesn‘t mean I wasn‘t angry at him when watching these performances. I‘d have loved to have Russia win gold. Just to call both Zhenya and Alina Olympic Champions. Aaah, a dream. Just imagine that, Alina‘d have been double Olympic Champion. At age 15! Oh my god, now I‘d like to set back time and let Mikhail have another go. :(

Of course mistakes can happen, but I don't remember zhenya making any mistake in the short program this season

Some numbers:
CS Ondrej Nepela: 80.00
GP Rostelecom cup:80 .75
GP NHK trophy: 79.99
Europeans:78.57
OWG Team event: 81.06 (WR)
OWG SP: 81.61(WR)
Most of them with a broken foot

I was wondering where I had heard the song memory and well it's in Rio 2 thanks Zhenia for skating on this wonderful song, she beautifully patinated, I can not wait to see her next program.

It could happen to everyone, except it never happened to Zhenya  (I guess we can't say the same about Alina? :( )

Today I had a vision of Zhenya at her first competition next season and Brian sending her off to skate and sitting with her at the K&C :sad4: I can't wait to see it happen for real

Me too ! I guess we will all realise it is real ! I hope it will be at ACI...

Definitely :luv17:
Apart from that, I can't wait to see the first competition with Zhenya and Alina (or any other Eteri's girl, actually) and the... relationship between Zhenya and Eteri  And I don't say that because of drama, but because I hope there will be a happy ending for everyone in this story, so...

Don't hold your breath on that one eheh I doubt they'll interact at all

Yeah, i think so too, but I still hope for a reconciliation :( But the most important in that still is that Zhenia is happy in Canada and that she wins against Eteri's army, anything else is secondary

Preach! Although I am looking forward to seeing her in the K&C with Brian. I bet their interactions will be really fun and light-hearted. I also hope her programs explore more this side of her personality. "Memory" showed that she can be emotional but with a lighter tone.

That part in brackets is not very fair, two years of constant winning (incl. OG) everything can't be smashed by one skate. If Alina would decide not to go to Milan due to exhaustion, would it be the same?

I didn't want to deny what Alina did, or say she didn't deserved it, or anything... But it's a fact that she failed at Worlds, and that's ok, it might happen to anyone, this time it was Alina, in the future it will probably be Zhenya... But as I said, for now it didn't happen to Zhenya :)

Update: ISU passed a rule that only 1 jumping pass in the short program and 3 jumping passes in the free skate will get the bonus. Guess this gives us all an idea of what Evgenia might do next season.

Why did it even need to be mentioned.

On the face it seems like nothing but a gratuitous comment.
