Her skates are so pretty. I always saw them on Mirai and Aliona and hoped that she would do that to hers. Fingers crossed that she stops wearing tape around them!

I like the strass on the skates. It‘s so pretty! 
And I love the new blades even more!
However, I‘m a bit torn on both together. I don‘t know... To my eye, it might seem like a bit too much at once. The blades are already such a eyecatcher and even though I adore strass on skates, I‘m worried it could take the attention away from her supercool rosegold blades. But well, that‘s just my two cents, Zhenya will do brilliantly whatever she‘s wearing!

the new students of the TCC are so extra, Zhenya and Jin if they know how to stand out , I love it . The blades are not as colorful as you can see in the photos, it's a rather pale color, so I don't think it's "too much", and the little glitter of the skates will look great when she's on the move.
Someone made a joke with the Iphone hahah. Gold (Jin), Rose Gold (Zhenya) and Black (Yuzu). lmao
I love that the skaters are themselves. I hope everyone can customize their skates I think Nathan also has black blades, and I also remember that Denis wanted a pair of completely black blades, but he thought they were impossible to manufacture.

I definitely like it. A few moments that I noticed. Firstly, her "boat" (spread eagle in English) for a few seconds longer than in programs usually. Secondly, the way out of the "flag" (I do not know how in English) is also a new one, this she has not done yet. This I would like to see in the contest program. :thumbsup:
Thirdly, I like how she lay on the ice, like Yana Kudryavtseva with the ball in 2015.
That was lovely. It had an earthy, cerebral quaility to it.
I saw she wore the dress from her Leftovers program and I went back and watched it from Ondrej. now in hindsight I can see that she was not invested in that program. I don't blame her, the program lacks fire and spark and kinda generic. I suppose it had the potential to develop into something great, but it would require a lot of work on her part, which obviously she wasn't willing to do. I loved Anna Karinina, so good for her to make the switch.
At least the 2017 program there was a story she could play up.

I agree with you. The Leftovers program had a great start until her 2A and than it lacked...everything. I mean, Evgenia did improve enormously her artistry in the summer before the Olympic season and tried to sell it but the choreo was just bland. Also, the jumps didn't fit the music at all. I knew she didn't enjoy it. Even at the test skates where she made some mistakes on the FS you could see how angry and unhappy she was. (I remember Averbukh and Eteri trying to console her but she was really pissed of :dev2

I really really like this! She looks recovered and even a little stronger than before! I think this program highlights her beautiful skating without being overwhelming. Well done!
Yeah, I also rewatched it not too long ago and looking back it was really not that great. They had beautiful music but it was cut terribly so the program didn't seem cohesive. The backloading didn't really work with the music and it felt like a washed up version of Extremely Loud. She did the right thing ditching it.
