Soooo, I come back and get to see that Zhenya finally took a picture with Brian and he HAS THE JACKET. OMG. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM IN THE K&C. Literally. Seriously. This is going to be superb! :cheer:

And also: I heavily agree on Aljona being a blessing to the skating community. :)

Eeek. I’m really nervous to her what she is going to say and the reactions of the people of the Russian Ladies thread as they will make a mountain out of any molehill that they can find. Personally I was hoping she would stop giving interviews but I guess that it is related to the blades that she was given so it is relatively compulsory. Oh well—I hope it will be a good interview and Zhenya is very careful in what she says.

It's okay :) It's most likely about her skating\preparation for the new season! Plus, if people want to get offended they will regardless :laugh:

I'm just happy to hear more from her! Maybe she can give us a preview of her programs!
 
I don‘t think Zhenya should stop giving interview just because of what some ludicrous haters say about her in a forum on the internet. :noshake:

Seriously, the good thing (one of them at least) about her training abroad is that she‘s never going to run out of options. She can compete (and win) but if she chooses to retire someday, she‘ll never have problems finding work as a coach or skating in shows. Even if she loses some fans in Russia (who weren‘t even fans in the first place), she gains so many more from all over the world, only increasing her popularity. She could even build a life in Canada, if she wanted, too. Her English is good enough already and she‘s found friends there to support her. She can also go back to Russia. Honestly, I feel like she‘s finally arrived where she needed to be because at this point she can do whatever she wants. She‘s free. And that‘s the most important. Not what some bunch of irrational haters say about her. Let‘s not bring this kind of negativity in here. We all know Zhenya‘s going to do a great interview, as were all from her before. And people are ALWAYS going to find something to hate on if they want to. We can‘t change this anyway. And so what? Let them hate. Grapes just too sour for them, I guess? ;) Zhenya is far too great to worry about people talking. She might be hated by many but she‘s loved by even more. :)

I'm not entirely sure if she's being serious or sarcastic, either way I find it upsetting how she (and so many other girls in this sport and in entertainment) have to read comments about food\weight constantly
