Evgenia Medvedeva

I'm not entirely sure if she's being serious or sarcastic, either way I find it upsetting how she (and so many other girls in this sport and in entertainment) have to read comments about food\weight constantly

I think it's from all the comments on her instagram photo that her legs are super skinny

In Alena's stories Zhenya said that she is getting too much comments like "Zhenya, stop eating!".

Yeah, but at least she seems to have a pretty thick skin about it! Most celebrities get this kind of endless and irrational hate, so learning how to deal with it is unfortunate, but necessary. However, if that translation’s accurate, then it sounds like she’s saying that in the past, she’s tried “not eating”, was negatively affected by it, and she doesn’t recommend it.

Translation pretty accurate except "I went through this." it is more like "We've been through this". She could refer to her own experience (most probable) or to someone's else, which she saw.

Thanks! Could it maybe bean "we've already had this discussion" like it would in English or is it strictly meaning 'going through the experience'

It is rather strictly about experience with not eating at all.
But may be it was just about that situation when she was only on coffee during TV show, which was already mentioned in her interview.

Thanks! Well...I’m glad she now recognizes that it wasn’t good for whoever it happened to.

I guess she got bothered at all the comments on her photo (Who wouldn’t?). I am only sharing this to give you an idea of what they were. Someone literally wrote “Anybody else think she might have an eating disorder? Not trying to be rude.” I reported the comment. It’s so horrible to suggest this on her own sns. Which takes me back to some comments people made on here a few days ago. Commenting on someone’s weight is just so so so bad.

That's messed up. Reminds me of when Yulia started appearing in competitions not looking like her 15 year old self (which is totally normal, duh) and suddenly, the next rumor to come out about her is that she's pregnant. lol wut? It may seem like ridiculous internet trolls being internet trolls, but of course, we found out later that she did have a disorder. I hope Evgenia will be okay.

What the heck? People are so awful! I hate both sides: the ones who are always telling people "you're too thin, eat a burger" and the "stop eating" brigade. People seriously needs to stop policing women's and girls' bodies!
