I’m wondering about that too... Zhenya has been with that dress maker since she was a little girl and I guess Olga has her measurements. But I read somewhere that David Wilson has his own contacts in term of dress makers so I don’t know 🤔

Really? Hm, interesting. I think Olga did such a nice job with her costumes! But I wouldn't be opposed to her trying someone new!

David can make her choreography but I want Olga‘s dresses! There isn‘t a single one I didn‘t like. Personally, I loved the River flows in you with the striking blue and the January Stars one was my favourite! :luv17: What happened with Eteri shouldn‘t affect the business relationship to a dress maker, should it? But maybe she wants a „complete“ change, as in everything differently than before so she might choose to try David‘s dress maker.

something pale pink with gold can be done but I like to see her in gold
Only color that I don't like on her is brown it is such a casual color for her unique personality

I actually like seeing her in dark colours... Don't you think that a gold dress would be a bit too bling with the golden skates? ;)

When you buy Edea skates, they don’t have those sparkles - I am pretty sure Evgenia put them on herself (probably with glue)! A girl at my rink did something similar with her skates, and they look really pretty. :)
 
I kinda feel like she’ll have a black one possibly with slight rose gold accents and then one in maybe sunsetty colours so warm oranges, pinks and purple which should look nice with her skates though how obvious they will be especially if she tapes them up at the top like she normally does I am not sure about. Regardless I think her costumes should be nice as if we look at Yuna’s costumes under Orser with Wilson they were nice and all of Zhenya’s have been nice up till now. In regards to Olga it will depend whether they want to be able to see what’s going on and how many fittings Zhenya would have to go back to Russia for.
 
The golden blades is an obviously nod to her fan fest at GOLDEN skate. She is the one with the Golden Skates!

Edea does it for skaters :) They did it for Vale Marchei as well, Vale said in an interview!

It’s not uncommon to have two dress makers, for example Lisa McKinnon did Maia Shibutani’s fabulous SD dress last season but didn’t do her FD dress. I think it just depends on what is logistically and financially possible

Yeah, also probably on the style one wants to achieve! Olga made some fabulous dresses for Zhenya, but maybe she wants to try something new too!

Yeah, in the end it only matters that Zhenya‘s happy with what she‘s wearing and it suits her. She‘ll be fine whatever she‘s wearing anyway, her dresses are only accessories to her sublime skating anyway. :biggrin: (Still doesn‘t mean that I want her to skate in something dull, though. :laugh2:)
 
Zhenya and Maia are playing Mario Kart as a team in the Shibsibs new IG video. I love the look of concentration that Zhenya develops as she plays, yet despite her determination, she appears to suck at it. I guess you can't be awesome at everything! :laugh:
 
^ That was a good attempt! Mario Kart is not for everyone. (I love that game though!)

So this popped up on my recommended list. It's a piano performance of "River Flows in You" by Yiruma, the composer and Henry, who is a member of one Super Junior -M, which is a sub group of the popular K-pop band (same label/entertainment company as Zhenya's fave EXO).
