As reported by the agency's interlocutor, Orser plans to fly to September rentals, which will be held on September 8-9, along with another representative of his coaching staff, David Wilson (this expert put both programs to Eugene for the current season).

"They (Orser and Wilson) will fly to Russia directly at the beginning of the event, Zhenya will appear in the capital one day earlier and plans to hold the first training session in Novogorsk on September 6," Devyatova said over the phone.

According to the mother of the figure skater, Orser, who also works with the two-time Olympic champion Japanese Yudzuru Khan, most likely will not be able to accompany the student in Saransk, where the qualifying championship of Russia will be held on December 19-23.

"Working with Zhenya in Saransk will be an assistant to Orser Tracy Wilson, and Brian himself will fly to Japan, coinciding that at one time with the Russian championship there will be a national championship where Yudzuru Khan will perform," the agency's interlocutor said.
Medvedev after the end of the Olympic season decided to leave the group Eteri Tutberidze and moved to Toronto, where she began working in the group of Brian Orser.

Well, i expected Brian to go with her to Rusnats cause they are going to be really competitive and i've never seen Jpn nats being that much of a big deal for Hanyu but i guess i was wrong. Tracy will be more than enough tho, she's always been a good moral support for Yuzu & Javi.

....Same

but Tracy is also her coach. I think people seem to forget that.

Yeah, Tracy and Brian are both her coaches. I'm sure they have worked out a schedule so Brian can be with Zhenya at some competitions and with Yuzu at some others, so that things are fair :) Tracy is wonderful and experienced, so I think she won't have any problems at RusNats

I don't expect any problems anyway! i doubt eteri is going to jump Zhenya in front of the entire russian nation :laugh2:

Makes sense for Brian and David to go to the test skates. Get to know all the important people from the fed, do some diplomacy, check out the competition, get the feedback first hand and see for themselves if they need to enter some correctives into their and Zhenya's plans for the season. As for Tracy at RusNats, I'm personally totally fine with it. She's Zhenya's second coach, it makes sense.

But oh my god oh my god guys, I'm getting more and more excited for the test skates with every second! It's getting real. Must... contain myself... have to... wait...

Poor Brian and Tracy, they have to split up between all their students. Their schedules must be insane! LOL.

Jason seems to have been officially assigned to Autumn Classic as most people expected. Considering that as we all know they are going together to their challenger competition this is essentially confirmation that Zhenya will be there too though the actual lineup should be released in a few days. So excited for this new season to start and to see her in competition.

We all expected that, of course. Has Jason confirmed it somewhere?
