I love Japanese skating documentaries, really looking forward to this one. If my Japanese hasn't failed me it was supposed to be broadcast today but moved to an undecided later date. Hope it's sooner rather than later.
Also, are those revolution blades on the last slide??

After Evgenia posted picture of her skating TCC family some pseudo journalist from Russia wrote an article how Zhenya is "ashamed" of Russian flag as the one from picture was slightly creased and how we never saw picture of Evgenia and Russian flag at TCC. I checked now her instastory and it's just Russian flag from Cricket Club rink. Coincidence? I don't think so

Yes I am nervous about her nerves! I hope she is able to achieve flow in her performances this week. She has gotten over Russian test skates and her debut at Autumn Classic. Those were big humps and everyone was waiting to see who she would be. She is still Evgenia just a little different so lets move on and skate.
Who cares what anyone thinks, do your job and do what you love and let go. That would be my advice.

My daughter has a stuff squirrel with an acorn and a racoon stuffy (in honour of the resident TCC racoon) for her
LOLI’m waiting for some practice reports. Official practice starts tomorrow and IIRC it will be available for Canadian residents.
TBH I won’t be surprised if Zhenya doesn’t win SC. I just want her to be satisfied with her result

In autumn classic she stated that she skated only 20% of what she's capable of. I'm hoping to see huge improvements now

I don't think so. They will just have to think about new reasons to dislike her. Hopefully she will make them do their work till their brains are drained dry

Hopefully the stream of the practices with Ted's commentary will be available as widely as possible, but it might be best to look into a VPN if you fear geo-blocking.
Unfortunately, my dying iPhone battery means that I am going to get it replaced in Montreal tomorrow afternoon. I've no idea if I'll have juice for both taking photos/videos and uploading them before then, esp as I've heard wifi is spotty in the arena. I'd suggest following others like @tegomass and @mossyzinc on Twitter for some images if you have problems here; I am pretty certain Gabb aka @tegomass will cover Evgenia. OR for a wider net, try the #SCI18 hashtag. I increasingly am avoiding competition threads for multiple reasons especially the negativity present in them. I've not yet gone to the ACI threads for ex, as I had a blast being at that event and really really didn't want the negativity to taint memories of a wonderful event and the lovely participating skaters. Far better to stick to Ted B, private chat, and some Twitter feeds I trust.

Please just enjoy the moment, anything you share is just a bonus! Also if you can pick up an external battery pack it would help a lot! If you get one that is 10,000mah it charges my iPhone 8 up to three and a half times (charged my iPhone 6 up to four and a half times).
