Evgenia Medvedeva

The most concerning thing is the fear of coming on the ice. During the whole program she seemed afraid to do her moves. Whatever is going on her mind, I hope she figures it out. She'll be able to concentrate on Nationals now.

She looked so good in morning practice too :( Makes me think it's as much a confidence issue as technique changes.

I'm so sad... and she could've won this competition too. I really hope this doesn't become detrimental in the future to her, and I hope whatever going on in her mind sorts out soon. :(

I thought she was happy with her new coach... but she seems so miserable now just coming to ice. I wonder what is going on there.

To me it looks like she's not even really fighting. I don't know what's going on, but I really hope that this doesn't mean that she's giving up. I don't even know what to say. Where's the fighter Zhenya? :(

I never expected this, but given the context and everything that she had to go through, it is understandable. My support will go on forever. I see the positive side, and now there will be more time to work and correct what needs to be corrected. Do not give up, Zhenya, keep fighting, many of us believe in you !!!! There are many competitions ahead, and 3 years to achieve the final goal which is the most important !!:hap10:

Zhenya always had the nerves of steel, one of her main weapons. But not today, from the moment she stepped on the ice she was in tense :(

Honestly, I thought that she would stop in the middle of the program and just give up. This was so difficult to watch. She really has to stay out of the social media until RusNats, people will be pouring so much nasty things onto her right now. Also, cut those interviews and whatever. She needs a safe bubble at the moment in order to gain her confidence back. I am also wondering if they have been working on the flip because for me it seems that the execution has worsened since SC and I am not talking about the almost a fall/step out thing. Her toe pick looks like her old one, however, she's grown and the old technique won't be really working anymore. I am also not sure if the constant changing of layout is good for her. She comes from an environment where she used to drill her layouts x1000 times without any changes.

She done many 2A+3L in practice without mistakes as far as saw on net but she just meltdown
She didn't even try to put 3L after the second 2A... why?

I can't believe this
