Where? You mean in the video or in the competitions or Russian nationals? In competition she has been using the same skates the entire season through, with her custom made swarofski crystals at the sides , I don't know if she had them on at RusNats though, . She switched her blades from rose hold to the silver ones after autumn classics.

I think she used other skates throughout the whole competition here. They looked a bit too white for me, but at first I thought I just couldn't notice the crystals, then went ahead and opened a video from IDF and sure enough the crystals are visible and I saw that these are new skates.

I wonder if she couldn't change to CSKA "officially'. She's still representing Sambo 70, but what good does it do if she can't even use their rink while in Moscow? CSKA might do more for her inside the RusFed.

That‘s great. She gets to spend time with her family and also train. I hope TAT helps her a bit like she did at RusNats!

That would be good but I fear that this might not work with Sambo? I don‘t think they would agree to that?

Sambo's rink is way closer. It's literally just around the corner. I remeber that they moved there before the beginning of last season, so it would be like 3-minute walk for Zhenya.

It lasts from Dec 31 till Jan 8 (well, this year from Dec 29), but who knows when she is planning on leaving.
