But interestingly enough she did 2a-2t-2lo here, when years later as world champion she did 2a-2t-2t. I wonder why.

it's definitely the best her lutz has been, but it's a shallow inside edge. it has really improved though, at least the edge makes it hard to tell now.

Explanation: When a skater has a shallow outside edge or a flate edge and the PR is higher than the textbook lutz 0-90 degrees, than it will always look like a flutz if you take the pic a spilt of a second to late. That´s the case by chibura´s pic.

Sorry, I don't really understand. Prerotation on the lutz exceeding 90 degrees is also wrong technique, it shouldn't get a pass. And the image you linked is made by Chibura herself, so I trust Chibura's judgement.

Well, it gets a pass by 80% of the ladies field.

Chibura is often right but this pic is a split of a second to late. It doesn´t mean that I do not agree with chibura´s judgement, as I wrote it, her edge was shallow inside edge.

Zhenya has this wonderful beauty gift. She can look adorable in one picture. And absolutely gorgeous in another. If you had to guess her age she would get 16-22, depending on the picture.

Again, I did not say Medvedeva. My point was with this screenshot that it matters when the pic is taken.

Zhenya at practice. She‘s doing her spins and apparently changed the layout for the show as she‘s doing 3F and 3S and no combo. I‘m a bit disappointed as it would have been a good way to practice the program but I guess 3-3 combos might be too hard in show-light or something??

Does the ice look smaller? I thought it looked there are chairs on one end? Maybe seating on the ice. Could be why she made layouts changes?

I also was hoping for the combo but still good to do flip on its own.
