This thought just crossed my mind. She is going to do a trial with another coach. Maybe Switzerland or Germany. Bad thoughts I know!

If she comes to Oberstdorf to train I'm going to be EVERYGODDAMNDAY there. I live like an hour and a half away
Now seriously... I doubt it. It would be a bad idea given that she is going through very important changes and they are going quite good considering the awful shape she was in after the Olys.

You are right. I just find it odd not to go back until European Champs. There could be some very good reasons for this.

Changing coach again? That wouldn‘t make much sense. And why a coach in Switzerland or Germany?
I thought this was refering to Zhenya flying to a competition or show.

The one who posted the picture said she will be back in Toronto during the Europeans, so I think that means she will fly somewhere for a show or competition (or shoot an ad or something).

Three things to consider:
- Coaching time at The Cricket is now possibly scarce due to Javier Fernandez (for the Europeans) and Gabrielle Daleman (for the Canadian Championships) coming back for training;
- Commitments for her MTV Russia K-Pop show must be added into the mix;
- Very few International competitions in January.
So basically, the month is ideal for light, unstressed training, and filling off-ice obligations for those not expected to go at the Euros/US/CDN Championships.

On one of Zhenya’s recent Instagram posts, someone commented that changing coaches was a big mistake. Zhenya basically told the person to mind his or her own business. Zhenya and Brian seemed to have some sort of breakthrough at Russian Nationals. It would be a shame to change again now.

If she changed coaches it would be within Russia. So there is no way she would leave Orser right now. But between Korean, canadian, American Nationals, plus Europeans. The coaches in Toronto would be really busy, so why not stay in Europe for a couple more weeks.
I agree. I don't think Zhenya is going to change her coach right now. Brian and Zhenya have said multiple times that Brian's methods start working in a year and a half, so December 2019 might be their deadline for things to start working. Changing coaches earlier isn't going to help.
Zhenya out of Moscow maybe due to iceshow / work with sponsors / visit to doctor / vacation XD.

Zhenya (by my position as in the outside looking in) wants a career. Not being a flash in the pan, like some girls/young ladies got trained now by possibly you may know (No further explanation needed). She chose Brian Orser for that reason, and she knows he coaches his skaters with that in mind.
If anyone still think the duet of Brian and Evgenia will be short, that person is mistaken. Big time.
