Is she her actual sister? I thought her name was Babasyan but her linked VK says she's Mitrofanova. I'm so done with Russian naming customs XD
They look alike though.

eastern europe thing. uncle's/aunt's children are sisters/brothers
edit. i just explained why she and siberian Dmitri used word sister not cousin.

not always. If cousins are close enough, they may call each other brothers/sisters, but not all people do so. I have a brother and 15 cousins who live quite far away, and I have never referred to my cousins as to brothers or sisters
As for Zhenya and Karina - they are cousins

Personally for me it's because with all the recent inside talks seeping through, it's becoming clearer that the fed is seriously considering sending her to Worlds. And I'm still not sure if it'd be a good thing for her, but fact is, if she gets sent to Worlds, it's going to be a very controversal decision and that makes it even more important that she does well... and that in turn makes me nervous, because I think it's crucial for her to finish this season on a positive note.
Or if she doesn't go to Worlds, I think it's now safe to assume she'll be going to Universiade in Liza's stead, since Mishin made it pretty clear that Liza won't be going there if she goes to Worlds (and it's almost a guarantee that she does).
She also posted two videos where she was talking, but she deleted them. Anyone has them?

I think that's what she talked about before in some interviews. That Canadian training sessions are shorter, but much more packed and intesive.
and I'm getting more and more curious if she's training completely alone in CSKA or under someone's supervision?

But why is she still in Russia anyway? That‘s the main question. It just doesn‘t make sense to train without a coach.

I'd think she is in contact with Brian. Per Skype or whatever. The reasoning is still totally nebulous to me, though... but didn't Yuzu use to train remotedly too, from time to time? I remeber reading something about that at some point.

If she's training alone it doesn't really make sense to be training a la Russian style with an 2h-pause, when she's no more used to it, unless the rink is closed for that time.
