I agree. I think Eteri wants Evgenia to skate well, so if Evgenia's injury would affect her placement, Evgenia would withdraw.

I think if Evgenia is healthy, the Russian federation will vote her in by council. She needs to rest now and get better. Her health is most important.

Apparently Zhenya will be hospitalized because of her back. I‘m scared - not for this season but her career. Back injuries are career ending, we’ve seen it with Pogorilaya and others. This sounds bad. Will she even be able skate competitively anymore?

Oh no!!! What a senseless season. They should cancel everything anyway since the Covid-19 cases are increasing dramatically.
If her reoccured back injury is a result of practicing the Biellmann spin, I want to xxxxx Tarasova because she forced her to do it again.
I was hopping for see her progress ... but the thing must be serious because it was a easy cup for her. Now she just need to rest .. it's time for the cup and Rostelecum .. if not .. well it's not the end of te world if she needs a year to comeback for full force better this one than the next ( but I hopping she can go to the next).

If this is true, it doesn't look good... I hope she focuses on recovery!! This year is crazy anyways who knows what will happen with Coronavirus... it would be a good time for her to rest, recover, and hopefully if she is healthy - come back with a bang

I think the hardest part in withdrawing for Evgenia is that she doesn't want to disappoint her fans. I just want Zhenya to get healthy and skate with confidence.

I‘m still worried. If it was a broken ankle or something similar, I wouldn‘t be. But back injuries end careers and if she ends up needing surgery, I doubt she can come back to competitive sport... let‘s just hope it will somehow all work out...
