Interview with Imperial Garden about her Japanese garden:
"- Evgeniya, tell us about the progress of the project. What has already been done and what has yet to be done?
- A lot has been done: all plantings are planned, a lawn has been laid, large-sized plants and small plants - annual and perennial - have been planted. The work is still underway, but it is already very beautiful. A lot of coniferous shrubs have appeared, which go well with a brick fence. And bonsai is worth something! There will soon be a dry stream next to him. It is in the process of being created.
- Will it be difficult to care for these plants?
- I do not know yet. But I am sure that IMPERIAL GARDEN specialists will help me. They will teach you how to monitor and care for the garden so that it delights the eye for a long time.
- What surprised you during the development and implementation of the project?
- The first is the assortment of plants with which IMPERIAL GARDEN can decorate the site. The second is a clear division of responsibility by areas: one team is responsible for planning, the other for the selection of plants, and the third for planting them. And all the teams interact well with each other.
- We know that you love Japan. Why are you interested in this country?
- It seems that everyone who comes to Japan falls in love with it for one reason or another. This country has been closed from the rest of the world for a long time, so unique cultural features have been preserved there, which are carefully passed on from generation to generation. For us, this is something completely new and unknown, and therefore interesting and fascinating.- What qualities distinguish Japanese athletes?
- Japanese athletes are basically similar to the rest: they are the same stubborn, stubborn and hardworking. We are ready to train daily and go to our goal. Perhaps Japanese athletes have a little more discipline, thanks to the upbringing they are given as children.
- Have you got the idea of a Japanese garden long ago?
- Yes, the desire appeared several years ago. We have a dacha built by my grandmother. Now she spends a lot of time there.
But it was not very appropriate to equip a Japanese garden there, especially since the dacha is located far from Moscow. But when we got our own house,
I understood - the time has come. Moreover, the specialists of Imperial Garden came to the rescue with the project. Still, trusting professionals is more correct than trying to implement something yourself in an area in which you do not understand anything.
- What countries and cities inspire you besides Japan?Have an idea to repeat a piece of them at home?
- I like Provence. But I would like to repeat his style not on the site, but in the house. Maybe even in your room."
