I didn't see anything illegal, either, but I'm by no means an expert. I don't think it was that good but that score was harsh and I have to question why that is. I'm not sure it's politics per se, but I wonder if it's reprecussions from their lawsuit last year? It couldn't have made them popular, and would have hurt their preparation besides. I doubt the protest will help.
I read somewhere that the Zaretskis will only get a ticket to Vancouver if they finish top-10, so this really hurts for them - they're one-hundredth of a point out.
I didn't get the wow factor Chris and Nicky did with C/L. It was just a good skate, it didn't seem that special, and while I didn't love the S/P Love Story, I do agree with figuristka that it was enough of a signature piece that it's weird to see it done, even if not in the same discipline. Anyway, they were definitely the best up to this point but not as good as I hope to see in the final group.
The Israelis are really out of favour. 12 points of their best score,only 6th place overall and by the end of the night out of the top 10. No deductions and they would have been 3rd.
The Italians were level above everyone else so far. Really enjoyed R/S and F/L. The arena is buzzing for the last group. Come on Jana and Sergei.

Nathalie PECHALAT / Fabian BOURZAT That was the best of the night so far. They performed it so well and were relaxed out their. Very nice. Twizzles seemed well done too.

I just posted the story of ANTI-SEMITISM ON ICE, to several of my friends in media, and a friend of mine who works for a certain POPULAR News Media magazine, and several news media outlet conenctions I have. Hopefully we will see this on the front page as early as tomorrow.

Federica FAIELLA / Massimo SCALI skated well but iam not sure i liked it as much as the french. Ok this time i didnt think of G/G with moonlight sonata but maybe its also to do with the costumes. C/L had costumes that had looked like S/P's too.

The Kerr´s program seemed original and they looked like they skated very fast, didnt look as relaxed as the French couple and i think perhaps their twizzles were a bit off.

It didn't have that much difficulty as the French program and they were slower too, the marks reflected that
I liked that they (the Kerrs) did mirror twizzles; you don't get to see that all the time. I love the way they go from one movement to another, usually with astonishing liquidity; they make it look easy. Sometimes I think dancers are better off being a little awkward, because that makes everything they do look really hard to do.

At least there is some justice the Kerrs get a medal, the Zaretski's were persecuted but the Kerrs get a medal that I am at least happy about.
