I didn't see anything illegal, either, but I'm by no means an expert. I don't think it was that good but that score was harsh and I have to question why that is. I'm not sure it's politics per se, but I wonder if it's reprecussions from their lawsuit last year? It couldn't have made them popular, and would have hurt their preparation besides. I doubt the protest will help.As a former competitor myself and someone who read the ISU handbook and the COP manuel in full, I can tell you that there was not illegal move this is a bunch of _______ judges who are trying to be politcal.
No matter, Israel is in the process of sending a formal complaint and protest.

I read somewhere that the Zaretskis will only get a ticket to Vancouver if they finish top-10, so this really hurts for them - they're one-hundredth of a point out.
I didn't get the wow factor Chris and Nicky did with C/L. It was just a good skate, it didn't seem that special, and while I didn't love the S/P Love Story, I do agree with figuristka that it was enough of a signature piece that it's weird to see it done, even if not in the same discipline. Anyway, they were definitely the best up to this point but not as good as I hope to see in the final group.
Federica FAIELLA / Massimo SCALI skated well but iam not sure i liked it as much as the french. Ok this time i didnt think of G/G with moonlight sonata but maybe its also to do with the costumes. C/L had costumes that had looked like S/P's too.
