If D/W don't win at least the free dance, there will be a GS riot... and I'll be a part of it.
I don't understand...you don't think that Pang and Tong should have won??? That is the only other medal that has been awarded thus far.
Missed Davis and White as I had to feed my kids, but sounds like they had the skate of the night. I do like them but have a special place in my heart for our Virtue and Moir (saw them when they were tiny little juniors!). I actually really like their new free dance. A real departure for them, which takes a lot of courage as their romantic style was working for them. She had a few stumbles tonight, hopefully by worlds they can get the kinks worked out. I love how supportive Scott is of her. At Canadians, you could read his lips immediately after they skated and he told her how proud he was of her.

They have a great chance, especially with the home ice advantage. I don't know if that counts as "fair" but it is the reality of the sport so bottom line yes, great chance.
oh please- home advantage :sheesh:

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MEDALISTS!!!!I did not realize that Tessa had surgery on both shins. Is that a common
injury for ice dancers?
I've never heard of it happening before. From what I understand it is a very rare overuse injury.
And, yes, I totally agree that Emily&Evan desperately need a piece of music that will do them justice next year!*hint SNF or Titanic*

I noticed Tessa took off her skates immediately in the K&C. It looked to me like she was in pain. I hope she's not pushing too hard too soon. It must be so frustating for her. I love their program but D&W were definately more polished here.

I read in the article posted below that Tessa is still in pain. She says it's a different type of pain, but that footwork is extra tough. I doubt they're training as much as they normally would be. And to consider all of that and they still did as well as they did?

and Emily & Evan for silver and bronze!
