I'm disappointed Dubreil and Lauzon didn't place better.... Does anyone know the details?

I'm pleased that Tanith and Ben took third... They are wonderful and my favorites now! They improve so much every year and I can't predict what they do at Worlds! :)
(I'm sure they would win Nationals without any problems...)

How did D&L end in 6th? Last night their scores in the FD were lsited as higher than D&S, but now the scores are reversed. Was it just a reporting error?

Antilles,

There was a computer error during the free dance that incorrectly recorded the score for one of Del/Schoes elements as reported on the USFSA site. Once corrected and added to their score they placed above D&L. I like the podium of course (N&K keep rolling, Den&Sta, and yay for B&A!), and this was such a deep and interesting field this year. :)

Tanith Belbin is from Canada (Kingston, Ontario). We know how to grow good ice dancers here!

The US dance scene has defintely benefited from the growing "globalization" of skating. It's a good thing too. It helps ensure people really get the best partners.
