They lost at least 7.25 points there (compared to a well executed L3), if not 8.75-9 points (since they were able to get L4 at the French Masters). So realistically speaking, without that fall, the program would've scored in the 117-119 range easily, which is terrific for a first outing outside a national competition and better than Tessa&Scott in SkateCanada (115.8).
These posts are funny to me because they skated the way they skated today and that was only good enough for 110 points. Just like Virtue Moir skated their FD at ACI the way they did and it was only good enough for 115 points. Those are the facts and that is the only way to compare each teams debut.
what is also fact is that P&C got a very slight edge on PCS so if one needs something to cling to there it is. To me it looks like these two teams are very close in the judges eyes. It will be crucial for both to hit all their levels. If they do I think skate order of FD will come into play but judging by audience reaction today l think P&C might have the PCS edge.

), but this seems like the kind of dance that you would do on the street, at a party... It's very casual and inviting, and that costume seems a bit too formal. I keep rewatching their SD... It's so fun, flirty and breezy -- for me it stands out amongst a sea of programs going the "sexy & sensual" route. V/M have the chemistry to pull that off, but many other teams simply don't. That's why I wish Gaby would reconsider the dress... not that it's not pretty (I do hate green though), but this seems like the kind of dance that you would do on the street, at a party... I think this is the first season that I go into where I like their short even more than their free.
Yeah, but "only good for 110" or "only good for 115" doesn't mean anything. You should rather check the protocols instead of writing sentences without any meaning. BTW, protocols ARE facts! So, if you spend a few minutes looking to it, you will see they lost all the points on one single element, the Diagonal Step Sequence whose level was set to 2 and almost all related GOEs to -2!!
Now, as long as you're interesting into facts, you can see in this protocol they got five level4 and 1 level3 and the big majority of GOEs for all elements except the DiSt are +3. So early in the season, such a result is impressive, really impressive. If you want me to translate, it simply means most the elements were at the highest possible technical level and their execution almost perfect.
For people who were in arena do you really see a difference between what you saw in live and what you saw in TV ?
I like the crowd reaction : a standing ovation

A lot of photos of the short dance https://ajtl.pictures.fi/kuvat/Finl...e+SD/Gabriella+PAPADAKIS+-+Guillaume+CIZERON/
and of the free dance https://ajtl.pictures.fi/kuvat/Finl...e+FD/Gabriella+PAPADAKIS+-+Guillaume+CIZERON/
As for the FD photos, Guillaume looks vicious in some of them, esp. in the presto part. Maybe he (or his character) was fighting his demons and just got carried away for a moment. There is a great and deep story behind the program. Those saying that this is the same old Mozart are just blind and do not want to see their progress.
