Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron

Thank you for the link. Finally there are no cuts in the performance part!
I love Gabby's honesty as well. I have always thought she is like Scott in this matter. Both give honest and direct answers and can get extremely passionate/emotional when performing, while Guillaume and Tessa are always more diplomatic with their answers. I could be wrong, but this is a part of what I have observed so far about these two teams.

Just watched their gala and I love the new costumes much more fitting with the music. It gave me this vision of them doing an FD dress exactly the same, a bit like in this gala. They have this otherworldly way of moving and running circles around each other so with the same costumes it could really give some interesting visual illusions. The Duchesnays had this mirror program where they dressed identically. Alas, I believe ID ladies cannot not wear a dress or skirt, am I wrong ? Then they could go for a kilt  Many would love seeing Guillaume dressed as a Scot and John Kerr could choreograph, after all he's done it before.
Anyway, this gala is much better than last year's.

You must read my mind, cocotaffy :). That's what I envision for them as their post-Olympic FD costumes (minus the leggings for Gaby, due to the ID dress code). It's early to discuss this, I know, but I hope that they hit us with an edgy avant-garde FD in the next Olympic quad.

I missed their exhibition, Did you find a video of it ? It would be super duper extraordinary :hap85:

She pulled her hand down on the beat at the end of the first part in the combination spin!!!:yes2::yahoo::clap::hap57::hap93::clapper::cheer::thank:

Indeed I hadn't even notice, you were right it makes it more dynamic, maybe they do read the fan fest after all. They also changed the entry to the straight lift, the transition after the knee slide and her upper body position on the last rotational lift. So far that's what I noticed. I'm sure it'll change by Euros but it seems they are trying to make the transitions more dense filling the blank here and there.

I love all the changes. Certainly that new second 'fall into Guillaume's arms' just after the knee-slide.
Even though they were apparently a bit slower than in Grenoble, the rhythm and beats of the presto were so much better, and there are every time more moments where they get the beat correctly. There are now only a few places left (end of combo spin for example) where they could still improve on that, but god, it's really going to be incredible if they can hit them all in PyeongChang.
It's no news, but I find it still so fascinating to see how the program grows on them and evolves and becomes more and more them. Gosh, this will be so spectacular come worlds...

That kneeling is soooo beautiful!

I wonder if the new dress is because of the tear, or if this one was meant to replace the other eventually. I like it, somehow it seems much more intricate than the former one. We see the sleeve seems more, but the 'body' part is now completely invisibly interwoven with the dress proper. That part needs to be really tight stretch fabric to stick on her with that immense open back, but the skirt needs to be light voile to flutter the way it does. How can you combine these two without showing clearly where they are put together...?
