Gracie Gold

OK so if this is about "all things Gracie Gold", let's talk about her her favourite things. What is her favourite:
- book
- film
- music artist
- song
- vacation spot
- fashion designer
- TV show
- sport that is not figure skating

?

Go!

The shoes and purse are really cute. The top is nice too but that over-sized shrug/jacket thing and the hair scarf are too much. Get rid of those and she'd look adorable. Less is more...she over-did this outfit.

Carly's look is better. Simple shirt and pants with a pop of color with the scarf.

Agreed. Carly's shirt is too big for her though, and if it was a more flattering blouse, it'd look quite nice with the scarf. And yeah, if Gracie ditched the oversized jacket and the headscarf (probably still keeping the hair up in a clip or something), she'd look immensely better. As you said, less is more, and Gracie's a pretty girl and doesn't need all that extra stuff.

Stumbled across a link to an Instagram video of Gracie's Let It Go. The man who makes her dresses is a friend of some friends. From what I can see, he did a magnificent job!
Have a look and block out the image of her questionable dinner outfit.

Lovely costume! And I really like her hair. Gracie might not be my favorite skater but I've always thought she would pull off Let It Go well.

That is a great costume.

Perhaps Gracie is going to follow in Michelle's footsteps in which she always looked amazing on the ice and not so much off. It has only been recently that Michelle has got away from an entire wardrobe of black clothing that is slightly too big for her.

Windmill arms more apparent in the full. Darn it, Gracie.

I'm really more bothered by the use of "Let it Go" then the windmill arms (I don't really dislike the song so much as I just think it's pretty corny for a skater to use it). I probably don't mind the arms too much because of the context. It's a show, have fun with it.

The really concerning part about that video, and it happens near the moment you link to, is what is going on with her double axel? Aside from strained landing, and maybe it's the angle, but the lift on that jump looked poor to my eye. It's a bit worrying considering how much trouble the jump gave her at the WC. I hope it doesn't become some weird random problem jump for her.

that dress is  wouldn't it be awesome if she could do the magic transformation Elsa had in the movie :p

I agree, the choice of music is a very "ugh". The arms bug me as well. The axel could be a genuine problem, but I'm not sure how much the spotlights and inability to see the non-existent boards will affect the skater.

Haha, I agree! That would be so cool. I'm really very impressed by her dress - great color and sparkle. They really did a good job of making her dress come alive and fit for the ice - like a nice interpretation, I guess is what I'm trying to say

The man who made the dress should get an award while the person who choreographed this program should be shot in the butt with stale candy.
