I was seriously beginning to consider pricing out flights/trains/hotels for SA...then I saw the dates. That's a week before my Master's exam. No way :drama:

I would really like to go -- I still have friends in Milwaukee! But Baby P will only be 4 months old...

Hoping that SA comes to Las Vegas as rumor in 2016 or 2017...I would definitely be able to do that.

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a while but never posted before, so first of all HI EVERYONE! I've loved reading your comments and following the conversation! :)

So to the point: it's been years since I went to a live competition but SA in Milwaukee sounds really tempting at this point... Since I'm so out of touch, could anyone enlighten me as to how much all event tickets go for GP events nowadays?? Ballpark is fine. Just to get an idea. Thanks! :)

Hi globalsoul, welcome to Golden Skate. Post often and post long!

To answer your question, an all event ticket can cost as much as $375.00 a person if you want to buy the VIP package (which comes with perks). But you can easily get an all-event ticket for half that amount. For several sessions, I think it's pretty affordable.

Do you need the VIP package to go to the practice sessions?

Nope, not at all. I think if you have an all-event ticket you have access to practices.

VIP mainly gave you a free pin, snacks and drink reception, nice seats, etc.

No, just an all-event ticket. Really enjoyed the laminated all-event ticket that were given in Detroit with the lanyard  better than the paper ones I needed for Chicago.

With the impossibility of going to Milwaukee for SA, now reconsidering Boston Worlds for an event or two...fly there for one/two events, fly back, no hotel needed!

This is a terrible idea.

I'm fine with waiting awhile, with the money I just dropped for Worlds in Boston... :hopelessness: Now that's an eternity away!

Massive exam for me then too.

BTW, are you by any chance studying classics? Just got the idea from your username.

Darn, was really hoping for SA being on the West Coast. Oh well, going to Worlds will have to be enough. Have fun midwesterners! :)

Las Vegas? Do they even have an ice rink there? Would be interesting to see, though

By the way, congratulations on the baby!! (I hope I'm reading your comment correctly and not just spewing something weird out)
