Hicks suffers leg injury - out for season

Apparently this is a serious injury. She may be out a while.

Ahh...I hope she can get back in for at least a little of this season! She is wonderfully promising!
Breaking your leg on the ice does not sound fun at all, I'll be checking for updates on her condition.

Does she have a bye to nationals? Since it is a broken leg, I don't see how she could be ready for sectionals?. And if she's not there, and she doesn't have a bye, what additional season could she have, other than practice?
