How can we go about hosting an ice skating event at out nudist campground

My husband and I own a seasonal nudist campground, and we host several different events during the summer.
We would like to involve the ice-skating community but not sure how we can do it. Any suggestions!

Because you mention summer, there are companies that have poly-glide rinks for rent more commonly during the winter that you could contact the event organizer if they could give you a contact for the rental company for their poly-glide rinks? I’m certain your local rental company would be excited with interest outside of their busiest season of the year.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but if the skaters are nudists too, I could imagine many potential safety issues, because skaters sometimes fall. Especially on plastic ice (like poly-glide), which has more friction than water ice. I suspect there are safer sports to do in the nude.

However, there are or at least have been skating companies that have skated topless at places like Los Vegas.

Invest in very high insurance for the inevitable injuries. Skating is a dangerous sport. Accidents are common, and the results in your case could be gruesome.

A second obstacle that occurred to me later is that where I live rinks require that skaters at public sessions -- and many private clubs also for beginners -- wear full protective equipment sold in skate shops, similar to the gear worn by hockey players but less bulky. Helmets are mandatory for beginners of all ages, and for children even at proficient levels. Also required at many rinks are padded gloves, wrist and elbow protectors, shorts with sewn-in protective padding for the coccyx area and hip joints, and knee pads. How will those fit with your establishment's rules? You can argue that yours is a private club and skaters can dispense with all of those, but then you lay your business open for lawsuits due to common skating injuries such as concussions, joint fractures and sprains, and deep cuts when people wearing sharp blades on their feet collide in a tangle.

I would think this over very carefully if I were you.
