Rika Kihira in Switzerland and her quad
I really would love to see Switzerland. My wife went there when she was on Team USA for dog agility and loved it. I dont think they trash the place with billboards and Les Schwab tire centers in strip malls.Champéry is probably the most gorgeous training location in all of skating. I would like to teletransport there to see Deniss, Stéphane and company too
Besides the obvious beauty of the mountains and villages, the people are interesting to talk with as I have met a few in the states. We dont talk politics here but I have read some interesting books about Swiss History and their views on women's suffrage and monetary systems, and politics. I bet they have good food too!Count me in! My father's family came from Switzerland and I've always wanted to visit.
I wouldnt be surprised about the money. People say Norway is expensive also....It's beautiful. Take lots of money.
WHAT? You didnt go to the B17 museum??????????????It's a beautiful country that we finally got to visit in the summer of 2018! While we were in Lausanne (day trip), we had a few hours to visit the Olympic Museum.
We were on a 2 week tour, which included Zurich, Zermatt, Geneva, Montreux, Lucerne, an eight hour train ride through the Swiss Alps, going up the Matterhorn, Jungfrau, Grindelwald, St. Moritz, Bern, ... We didn't know anything about the museum you described. That would have been interesting to visit, but we couldn't do everything.WHAT? You didnt go to the B17 museum??????????????
Oh my days! I'm going to follow that one for sure! Thank you.Of course Champery is for me probably the closest place on earth to Heaven
And this IG account I follow... one of my favourite accounts, and makes me pine for every day so, so much!!! (it's not skating related, but hey it's Le Cafe here ) do have a look, you won't regret it!
NO SOUP FOR YOU!Indeed! I don't know anything about Switzerland, but it's flag is a big plus!
I'll see myself out...
